Corporate Games Crowns New Champions
Area Companies Earn Yearlong Bragging Rights
DAVENPORT, Iowa, Aug. 15, 2025 – Winners of the fifth annual Quad Cities Corporate Games will be recognized at ImpactLife Blood Center, Tuesday, August 15, at 12:00 p.m. in Bettendorf. Fourty-two local businesses and organizations participated in over 20 sports and events from May 31 through July 31 as part of the Corporate Games. The games served the most ever companies in its five years as more and more Quad Cities area companies participate in this exciting event.
“The growth of 2025 Quad Cities Corporate Games was a bright spot for the Iowa Corporate Games,” says Chuck Long, CEO & Executive Director of the Quad Cities Corporate Games. “Employee participation was at an all-time high, and company pride was on full display throughout the summer. Corporate champions (listed in order of first, second, third, and fourth place):
- Division 1: Modern Woodmen of America; Community Health Care Inc.; City of Bettendorf; City of Moline
- Division 2: Lincoln Electric Automation ; Von Maur ; Schebler Company; Vibrant Credit Union
- Division 3: Deloitte; Honkamp, P.C.; Quad Scouts; Team ABT-RCG
Employees participated in a variety of sports, events, and challenges to earn company points. In their very first year participating in the Quad Cities Corporate Games, Modern Woodmen of America and Deloitte earned championships in dominant fashion Lincoln Electric Automation captured the Division 2 championship in a heated competition over Von Maur. This is their second championship in the last three years.

Blood Donation Challenge and Volunteer Service Awards
In addition to the physical activities offered, challenges were offered to promote service within the community. The Blood Donation Challenge was held in partnership with ImpactLife Blood Center. Supplies of blood products typically run low in the summer, and the Corporate Games companies were able to help increase donations during these crucial months. The Meals from the Heartland Challenge was back again as a part of the second Quad Cities Hunger Fight and saw incredible growth in its second year.

Many companies supply volunteers to assist with the operation of the events during the Corporate Games. The companies with the most volunteers in each division were given the Volunteer Service Award.

The Quad Cities Corporate Games is a project of the Iowa Sports Foundation in partnership with Visit Quad Cities and the Davenport Parks and Recreation Department. The company-based competition, starting June 1 and ending July 31, enables and supports teamwork, company pride and corporate wellness through healthy competition.
